About Lorna

Hi, I’m Lorna Miser—maker, mender, and lifelong lover of textiles. I create one-of-a-kind bags, accessories, and keepsakes from rescued materials like vintage quilts, upholstery samples, worn-out clothing, and bicycle inner tubes and leather coats. To me, nothing is “just scrap”—it all holds a story waiting to be told again.

My process is deeply personal and purpose-driven: I give new life to forgotten fabrics, reduce textile waste, and create pieces that are beautiful, functional, and completely unique. I love mixing textures, histories, and unexpected details—like the pocket from a suede jacket or the charm of an old button.

I sew with intention, a little humor, and a deep respect for what came before. Whether it’s a purse stitched from furniture fabric or a memory bear stuffed with love and leftovers, everything I make is rooted in sustainability and soul.

Thanks for supporting handmade work that’s kind to the earth and rich with meaning.
