·      Create your own pattern and customize the size

·      Sew on a decorative patch

·      Practice straight, accurate seam allowances and where to reinforce them

·      Turning a hem or casing

·       Finishing the seams

·      Inserting cording

Where else are these techniques used? Planning and measuring for garments and projects. Hemming garments, tablecloths, curtains. Patching holes decoratively. Making your own cords. Fixing cords in hoodies or drawstring pants.
