Sweater Collection Dusty Green

We've taken up cycling of rescued fabrics to a new level by finding beautiful knit sweaters and blankets and turning them into usable tote bags--knitting bags and pouches. Each collection size and quantity varies depending on the size and design of the sweater. We can usually get 2 large totes, a medium tote or purse and several pouches from an average sweater. Sometimes we include the pockets, zippers or pockets into the finished design.

The sweater is completely stabilized to a foundation so it is no longer stretchy, snaggy, nor can anything poke through. The bags will stand up without being stiff and are fully lined with several internal pockets. The handles and bottoms are made with bicycle inner tubes for durability and water resistance.

These were a huge success at our recent event and in the whole dusty green collection, only these two large tote remain.
